Terms of use

The agreement, in plain sentences.

By using Suaviq you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Suaviq is operated by Pawan Priyadarshi.

What Suaviq is

Suaviq is a skills-practice product: short lessons, one exercise a night in the real world, and a place to write down how it went. Its structure borrows from cognitive behavioural therapy — thought logging, naming distortions, graded exposure, delayed re-rating — and its material is drawn from the historical canon on charm and read critically.

Suaviq is not therapy and not medical advice. It is not delivered by clinicians, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a treatment for social anxiety or any other condition. If your fear is bigger than shyness — if it stops you working, or living, or you are thinking about harming yourself — please speak to a doctor or a qualified therapist. Our support page lists immediate help.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18. The exercises ask you to approach strangers in public, and the material assumes adult judgement about consent, risk and other people’s comfort.

Using it decently

The exercises involve real people who did not sign up for anything. That places obligations on you which we take seriously enough to make them terms rather than suggestions.

  • Take no for an answer, the first time, without negotiation.
  • Do not use anything here to pressure, deceive, follow, or persist with someone who has disengaged.
  • Do not use Suaviq to harass anyone, or on anyone who cannot freely leave the conversation.
  • Do not attempt to breach, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these, without refund where a payment has been taken. Suaviq teaches attention and self-possession; it is explicitly not a manipulation product, and we will not support its use as one.

Your account

Signing in is optional. You are responsible for the email address you use and for anything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Membership and payment

Suaviq Gold costs $19.99 once, or $4.99 a month. Prices are in US dollars and the total you will be charged is shown before you confirm. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.

The monthly plan renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the membership page, which opens Stripe's billing portal — no email required, no retention call. Cancelling stops the next payment and leaves your access running until the period you have already paid for ends. The one-time plan is not a subscription and renews nothing; it gives access for as long as Suaviq operates, and if we ever shut the service down we will say so here and give reasonable notice.

Your right to withdraw. As a consumer buying at a distance you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. Digital content is the exception: that right ends once we start supplying it, provided you asked us to and understood what you were giving up. Gold opens immediately on payment, so at checkout we ask you to agree to exactly that. If you would rather keep the fourteen days, do not buy — the nightly ritual, four full topics and the whole Rejection Room are free and always will be.

Beyond that, if something has gone wrong — you were charged twice, the product did not work, you bought the wrong plan — write to contact@suaviq.com and we will sort it out. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under Spanish or EU consumer law.

Your writing stays yours

The notes, reflections and Rejection Room entries you write belong to you. We store them to run the features you are using and for no other purpose. We claim no licence to publish them, and we do not use them to train models. See the privacy page for specifics.

Our material

The lessons, exercises, commentary and design are ours, and are licensed to you for personal use while your account is open. Please do not republish or resell them.

Where we discuss published works — Ovid, Castiglione, Casanova, Carnegie, Greene and others — the principles are our paraphrases and our reading, not the authors’ words, and criticism of them is our opinion. Named authors, books and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and Suaviq is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them. Research we cite belongs to its authors; our summaries are our own and any error in them is ours.

What we do not promise

Suaviq is provided as it is. We do not promise a particular outcome in your social or romantic life, and nobody honestly could. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending it

You can stop using Suaviq at any time and ask us to delete your account and data. We may withdraw the service, or close an account that breaches these terms.

Law, and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Spain, and its courts have jurisdiction. If we change them in substance we will update the date at the top of this page and tell signed-in users by email where the change matters.
